TAFTAC Holds Annual Election

He Enjia was elected president for the 2026–2028 17th term.

Meanwhile, He Enjia highlighted the garment sector as Cambodia’s core economic pillar.
It creates massive jobs and connects local manufacturers to worldwide supply chains.
He promised to improve export competitiveness while advancing sustainable production.

2025 Apparel Export Growth Data

Furthermore, Cambodia’s textile, footwear and travel goods exports jumped 15.8% year-on-year.
The total export value climbed from $13.5bn in 2024 to $15.7bn in 2025 amid global economic headwinds.
Official data shows over 2.1 million workers work in more than 46,600 registered factories.

TAFTAC’s 29-Year Industry Role

In addition, TAFTAC was established 29 years ago to represent all garment investors.
It builds communication channels linking the government, factory owners and labour groups.
The association keeps supporting long-term stable and eco-friendly export expansion.
