PFAS-free outdoor fabrics become essential for today’s outdoor apparel industry. Traditional PFAS textile materials damage ecology, so brands actively upgrade to eco-friendly alternatives. Chad Kelly, Vice President of eVent Fabrics, states this partnership accelerates global popularization of eco outdoor textiles. PELLIOT owns broad market influence in China, so this cooperation changes local industry attitudes toward toxic PFAS fabrics.
Zhao Le, Vice President of PELLIOT, mentions eco-friendly manufacturing is core brand value. PFAS chemicals bring irreversible environmental risks; therefore, PELLIOT cooperates with eVent to apply PFAS-free outdoor fabrics widely. The two brands guarantee outdoor performance while cutting harmful chemicals.
Two new types of green outdoor garment materials are developed jointly by eVent and PELLIOT. The alpineST fabric adopts PFAS-free membrane plus C0 DWR finish. It fits harsh alpine weather and supports SS27 PELLIOT hardshell jackets.
Moreover, windstormST uses plant-based recycled textiles with eco DWR treatment. This fabric blocks wind and light precipitation, and PELLIOT will use this material on FW26 softshell items for daily hiking.
This cooperation popularizes mass application of non-PFAS outdoor fabrics in China’s outdoor industry. International eco membrane technology lands on domestic mass apparel, which makes sustainable functional outerwear more affordable. In addition, large-scale production raises public awareness of PFAS pollution, and pushes the whole textile supply chain to complete green transformation.
All these material upgrades cater to modern outdoor lovers who pursue both functionality and environmental responsibility.
